I’ve had a deep love for cannabis since I was 15 — not just for the way it makes you feel, but for the plant itself. What it is, what it does, how it connects people. Over the years it’s been a constant companion through the hard times and the good ones. And there have been plenty of both.
I’ve also always loved being in the kitchen. The creativity of it, the process, the joy of making something that genuinely delights people. At some point I realised — why not bring these two loves together?
And so, in 2023, Rise Above Edibles was born.
The name isn’t just a brand. It’s a philosophy I’ve lived by. Life has thrown me more than a few curveballs, and every single time, I’ve made the choice to rise above. That resilience is baked into everything we do here — literally.
RAE is a small-batch, handcrafted edibles brand based in Cape Town. Every product — from our gummies and marshmallows to our fudge, cookies, and indulgent truffles — is made with real ingredients, careful dosing, and genuine passion. No shortcuts. No mystery. Just consistently beautiful product from someone who truly loves what they do.
